    I tried to make a proposal to a job posted on the site (https://monero.jobs/jobs/manga-scanlation-1 for the record). This resulted in an unhelpful error: "something went wrong, try again later".

    I reported this to the site owner via both X and the contact form. 4 days have gone by, and I still can't make a proposal to this job.

    I don't know if the whole site is broken or if it's just me, but right now monero.jobs cannot do the one thing it was created to do. Zero assistance, or even acknowledgement from the owner/operator. I cannot recommend using this for anything, to anyone.

    • Hi. Sorry for the bad experience.

      I have tried to replicate the error, however, for me it worked, same as for all other jobs; most of them get many proposals, just recently I got asked to implement a feature to pause jobs because some clients got too many.

    • OP here. After posting this review (and getting a reply to it), the bug I reported no longer occurs. I also note, a "contact client" button that allows me to message the client directly now appears in the job listing where it didn't before.

      Maybe this was a conflict between my browser and the website that suddenly and mysteriously fixed itself (with oddly convenient timing). I can only assume that's the case, because the alternative is that the site operator quietly made fixes in response to my reports and then went on to pretend that the bugs never existed, which would be a very strange thing to do so we can safely rule that out completely.

      I would upgrade my review to 3.5 out of 5 if I could. I'd consider 4, but the support and user feedback is slow and rather lacking, so it holds the score back. It might be an idea to hire a dedicated user support agent/community manager to shore up this area.
